how do you get 3 budgies to stop screetching?
my budgies keep screeching like crazy... once the male starts the 2 girls follow and it is becoming a problem for the family... I just got them and I was wondering how I could stop this. please help.. :(

It's either it's hurt or it's just happy . They are happy bird , they make noises during the day , noon and even at night . If you want them to stop chirping , I suggest you play with them like petting , giving them treats or keeping them company . I just bought a budgie , and I named it Dobby . He doesn't stop chirping ever since I bought him .I accompany him everyday and play with him . He screetch sometime if he wants me to play with him . Maybe I suggest you buy your bird more toys ? Or maybe you could on some music .

Like what Owlwoman said, they are loud and this is how they say they are happy.
If you want to make them less noisy, take them, pet them, ect. The key is affection.

April - they are not screeching. This is their call, --- their happy voice.
Find someone to take them who loves their voices.
