Is it correct to say "rainy forest"?

And is it correct to say "we decided UPON something"?

    If you're walking in the forest and it rains, then it's a rainy forest. Why not?

    A rainforest — one word — is a specific kind of forest.

    to decide upon something vs. to decide on something — the first is slightly more formal, but otherwise no difference.

    If a normal forest gets rain often then yes. And yes again

    I've heard rain forests. not rainy forests
