How could i attach java moss?

Hi i dont know if it is possible or not but i want to attach java moss to my 3D background but im not sure how i could do it. i thought about maybe staples or clips and stick them in place to hold it but not sure if that would work. any ideas? Thanks guys

    If you have a kind of plastic mesh, you can kind of weave the java moss in between the holes in it. You can create a moss wall and if you get a mesh flexible enough, you can shape it around the 3D background. Usually fishing line or thread is used to tie java moss to rocks or wood.

    Is this a foam background? If so, Use black cotton thread and a sewing needle to attach it to the background. Eventually the cotton thread will rot away in the water after the moss attaches itself.
