Help with Skyrim for PC...?

Ok so I started playing the game, but when I started, my character tried to get off the cart and went the wrong way and got stuck in it. I downloaded a save file to get myself to the character customization, but it's a .rar file and I can't open it. If anyone can tell me how to get the file open, I would appreciate it. I just wanna play my game D:

    Download WINRAR. Secondly verify your game cache (properties, local files)
