How to keep the deer from eating my Hydrangeas?

I have heard tons of things I need to know what works..apart from paying a arm and leg for a repellent...Please help my poor bushes had tons of flowers and blooms and now they are naked...we have new baby deer and the mom is probably hungry from feeding them

Update:

great idea about the sprayer but we dont have real good water pressure so I am not sure it would work

Tried and tested- Buy camphor balls or whats called naphatelen balls or the other name is moth balls

Break them up by putting them in a plastic bag to break them up into smaller pieces like you would do Ice

take a handful of them and surround the plants with it not too much just a fistful

Trust me the deer hate this smell I had the same probelm with tuips and other plants, one day beautiful buds . wake up and all nipped off!Ok so they have to eat but so do we have to have a beautiful garden!

This tip is tried and tested

I too have a problem involving Deer eating everything I plant as a flower, shrub or vegetable. The only cure I have found that actually works is a product called "Liquid Fence" and stinks to heaven. The Deer won't touch a plant with that stuff on it, but neither will I.

Using Hair and Motion Devices works for a short time, and then they get used to it and it has no affect on them.

maximum things you try will artwork for a couple of minutes. contained in the destiny, they don't. they are VERY adaptable creatures. Scents, soaps, hair, wind noise pans etc etc will in common words deter till they be certain out they received't get damage..an severe priced fence is the in common words actual way. A dogs will artwork also. attempt a action detecting mild OR a action detecting water squirter. ..you need to attempt soaking a some warm pepper flakes in a gallon of water and making a twig out of it. doesn't damage the flora even though it may't be "tasty" for the deer. this isn't an consumer-friendly element to do. A severe fence is the in common words assure.

human hair! animals do not like it. next time you get a hair cut save it & spread it around the outside of your hydrangeas. hopefully you need a hair cut haha. the hair will keep other animals away from them as well, if you have a garden it will work there too

You can't stop a hungry animal, you can only try. Noise or motion usually works. You can purchase a motion sprayer and attach it to your hose.
