Used 2007 Acura RDX steering/ride?

I am looking into getting a used 2007 Acura RDX. However, when I test drove it, the ride was a little stiff and the steering was really, REALLY, tight! I am used to driving an Accord and Yukon XL, so maybe I'm not accustomed to driving car with such tight steering. I love the steering on the other two cars, but the RDX has great appointments and we are getting a great deal on it that would be hard to pass up. Could the car need work, since it is used, or is the tight steering and stiff ride simply characteristic of this cute ute? Thanks!:)

The early body style RDX was a wagon. They ride like a log truck and yes, the steering is very tight as you state it. It also takes premium fuel which is more expensive and it takes synthetic oil. With the turbo, the gas mileage is not all that great either.

In the last few weeks, have seen issues with the a/c compressors on these. Approx $700 to repair. Just a heads up.

Tight steering and a hard ride are complaints that were fixed in the new RDX.
