disability harassment?
How much proof does one have to provide to the EEOC if they were harassed at work about their disability? Apparently, rules for some employees don't apply, but it does for the person with a disability at this job. Constant picking, riding on this employee, inside phone calls every half hour asking how much this person did, write-ups weekly if not more often, while others are working at the same pace don't get the same. Then when the employee blows the whistle, the Managers say "oh, we did not know this person had a disability" even tho it is very apparent. What actions can be done to show proof? This is a really sad ordeal for this person. Any advise would be grateful.
This case is already 3 years old...and he is going thru EEOC under ADA act for violating his rights. He also was told that he was going to be fired on a regular basis by his Manager. Since then this person has had nightmares, afraid, nervous, depressed, anxiety, etc. This person also seeks medical attention from three different professionals due to this situation. The EEOC is has not done anything and it appears this company is going to get away with it. Attorney's say these kind of cases are difficult to prove. This is really a horrific situation!
There is no Union or Union Rep. This is a place where headquarters is in another state. It was the Main Manager at this business that broke the law. All other employees are afraid to say anything as they are afraid for their own jobs. Witnesses say that they don't want to get involved.

Take thematter to the Union rep if there is one at the workplace concerned.
Be sure that you have plenty of documented proof of harassment, also ask any fellow employees t who would know about what has been happening to bear witness to the matter.

Wrong definition for whistle blower, but managers are middle-management. Take it up higher, until someone listens. If no one listens, take it to the ACLU.

All they can do is quit and collect disability all the while laughing at the idiots who are still going to work every day.
