Tes, after the first four lines you seem to lose the thread to what promised to be one great Chaplinesque take on the tinsel world. The tear-soaked self deprecation in those first four's been so pathetically rainbow that I feel tempted to suggest that you leave them alone; just as sometimes one keeps aside a bijou just as a standalone piece of rarity.
