What sort of questions do you like to answer, spiritually?

I am asking it in R&S because I see such a variety. I am getting sort of tired going over the same subjects continually;

troll stuff --- can be amusing but I would rather go over the polls

atheists vs whoever --- I'm not into battling that subject

trinity --- way too much evidence as to where it is coming from

hell fire --- fire is symbolic of permanent destruction

cult --- one of those words that people use to get others all up in arms

I personally like to discuss the 'heart' and what motivates us for either good or bad. Use your own translation for this: <3 @_@

Proverbs 4:23

New International Version (NIV)

23 Above all else, guard your heart,

for everything you do flows from it.

Ephesians 1:18

New Living Translation (NLT)

18 I pray that your hearts will be flooded with light so that you can understand the confident hope he has given to those he called—his holy people who are his rich and glorious inheritance.[a]

Hebrews 3:12, 13

New World Translation (NWT)

12 Beware, brothers, for fear there should ever develop in any one of YOU a wicked heart lacking faith by drawing away from the living God; 13 but keep on exhorting one another each day, as long as it may be called “Today,” for fear any one of YOU should become hardened by the deceptive power of sin.

Jeremiah 17:10

Holman Christian Standard Bible (HCSB)

10 I, Yahweh, examine the mind,

I test the heart[a]

to give to each according to his way,

according to what his actions deserve.

Ones that keep me on my toes and get me thinking.

I don't wanna single out any religious group but I've noticed that some Muslims ask alot of very thought provoking questions about the Bible & Christianity which "sharpens the sword" because I need to do extra research. (There's one question from a few weeks ago that I've still been racking my brain on to figure out because it's so multi-layered & multi-scriptural, and had never even dawned on me before). So I like a Scriptural challenge...and also ones to provide encouragement. =)

PS - If you like indepth questions & answers about the heart, then you'll love the District Convention program this year (if you haven't already been to it, that is).

I like the scripture at Hebrews 3:12, 13 (which you referenced) because it gives the *recipe for success* when it comes to building faith & safeguarding our hearts. Faith cannot be *stock-piled* and stored away for a rainy day (as many people would imagine). Faith has to be continually developed with DAILY prayer and Bible study because refinement & training of our heart is an ongoing building project. It's like working out. A bodybuilder can't keep his big muscles for long without lifting weights on a regular basis. And like all aspects of life, without continual upkeep & 'strength training' on our heart, the elements of this world will naturally erode and break down whatever faith we currently have.

I too, get tired of the same old questions...

but then I remember, everyone has not heard yet,

otherwise Jehovah would have let loose the 'dogs of war.'

The acceptable time, would be over, so I repeat.

I like questions about the trinity lie, blood issues, marriage, children,

or others that ask "what we would do?" in such-n-such a situation.

I also like questions that ask on something Scriptural.

    with an occasional, trival question/answer.

    In increasing order:

    1) Any and all that are respectful.

    2) Any question that makes me think. Really think.

    3) Questions where someone is seeking and I can help them along their way.

    4) Sometimes, when I expect all I am going to do is pen a few short lines, it occurs that my mind begins composing an intellectual, philosophical or spiritual symphony, my fingers start doing their tap dance on the keyboard, and it is almost like someone takes over, my fingers seem to fly of their own accord, and when I am done, I sit there in amazement, enthralled at what is before me, and I marvel at it. Not every day, but often enough. And I can only wonder that something so beautiful and so profound could come from the fingers of even the most gifted, and yet they have come from me, and I can only wonder how, can only wonder why. I seldom have any idea what is going to come out when I start writing, and even when I think I know, even when I start out to write one thing, something else almost always is there when I am done. But when some higher power offers its assistance, even if I am not at all affected by it when I am writing, when I an done and I start reading the words before me, it can bring tears so copious that I can barely make out the words before me. It is at times like that that my soul is moved and I am closest to the One who has inspired even the least of us. It is then that I feel most humble.

Actually, I like the trinity and Hellfire questions and here is why. At my place of employment, we took a test called the Meyer's Briggs. It classifies the way people think. For instance introvert versus extrovert, is one. Another is thinker versus feeler. Women tend to be feelers and men tend to be thinkers (One isn't more intelligent than other, they just process things differently). I am a thinker, but just like 5 points on that side. I am not a real sentimental person and am very matter of fact. I am better at pointing people to the logic rather than reaching the heart. Not to say, I am cold hearted. I can actually be very warm hearted. But I have my own unique style. I think it takes all types to reach people. One kind of question I am trying to steer clear of are the insulting ones. Some things shouldn't be dignified with an answer. Whatever, the question is it is probably best to weigh the sincerity of the person.

I look for the ones who ask sincere questions about the Bible. They are far and few in between so I answer others. I refuse to answer any that are straight slander or the asker is just ranting. I try to use the "THINK" method when answering.

    T- Is it true?

    H- Is it helpful?

    I- Is it inspiring?

    N- Is it necessary?

    K- Is it kind?

May not always be but what I strive for when answering.

When Jehovah examines us, what does he look for?—2 Chronicles 16:9

For, as regards Jehovah, his eyes are roving about through all the earth to show his strength in behalf of those whose heart is complete toward him.

Questions based on the seat of motivation shows that the one asking it has feelings, this drive to ask such questions gives me joy to answer them based on Gods love from his word.

Anyone that has to do with the taking in knowledge of the true God Jehovah and the one he sent forth his only begotten Son the firstborn of all creation.

Many religions answer with their opinion I like Bible based answers as I can give a hoot about Christendom's opinions!

I like questions where I feel like I can actually enlighten people. Where I can get them to go "oh, I never knew that" or "I had never considered that before". Unfortunately in R&S you'll make a very valid and detailed point only to have the "Best Answer" awarded to a circlejerk response. Oh well.

Lol, 3333 more to move and you'll wholly outrank Palin. 1. Fifty eight% evil... 2. I am now not certain if it is "evil" to gentle flares at a football game and throw them onto the pitch, however I discovered the rough used to be that it is absolutely unlawful =) three. No...My predicament is that she thinks she IS Christ.
