WE ARE CATS AND WE ARE BACK!!! WOOHOO!!?

Are we?? Really?? Hmmm!

Great game by Cats, wish they played like this every week! They held onto last lifeline i gave them! I'm sure boys and Chris Scott would of have watched Saints vs Bombers game. Felt like they played in similar fashion!

And doubters? Well you mite think again that you actually know something about the footy! Because maybe you dont!

Gotta feeling we can back it up next week againt the mighty Crows!!

Cats should still make the finals but will not make big impact, thats how I see it however gotta enjoy the big win while you can!

EDIT: Fish just shows you really dont know much about the footy as you think perhaps :)?

Hang on ,last time I've checked Cats were still doing better than Lions :)!

EDIT 2: Quad, I know I was just mucking around with the kid. He's actually one of the few that gives legitimate answers with good reasoning behind them.

As for Cats next week, we should do it for Joel Corey who will play 250th. Bartel & Christensen should be back, not sure about Pods & Wojci. Lets see how the week pans out. I leave only 10-15min from Simmonds Stadium.

EDIT 3: Whay, worry about your Eagles (i think thats the team you follow). Losing two matches in a row by 7 goals would be kind of concern in my view.

EDIT 4: LEO you didnt even read what was written. No mention of writing top 4 off?? Not by me anyway? You mite be biting you tongue cause you wrote us off already. Cats will make 8 but i dont expect huge impact afterwards. Anyway Eagles have bigger things to worry about.

    VERY GOOD performance. Youngsters stepped up. PLayed 4 quarters. 2 mins in already had 12 tackles. Won all the key areas. Smedts with 3 goals, Hawkins with 5 and 8 marks, Duncan with one and 31 disposals. Murdoch with 2 goals. Walker goaled early with a miss. Good looking future. Even though we didn't have Bartel, Selwood quiet, good work by duncan and corey. and kelly. Mackie and TAylor were also fantastic. Lonergan as well. Geelong could have won more but wasted chances. Hopefully Scarlett won't be penalised so he can play against the crows at simonds stadium. Hopefully we can keep our form like this, we might get into top 4, but certainly, confidence boost for the youngsters.

    Havent seen you much around this section but we do have some absolute gun users who know their stuff - and the majority of this section never had a doubt about Geelong. We know how dangerous they can be. They do, however, have to back this win up and play the Geelong style of football we are accustomed to.

    Steve Johnson, Selwood and Chapman for me are the only consistent players in the team. Harry Taylor is also having a great year. However, their guns like Mackie and Enright are having 1 great game and then 1 average game - check their stats. Consistency is key my friend!

    Nah Mick - Fish is pretty good but obviously he's not going to be much of a judge ... he's a Lions fan :-P [Good kid though]

    We played four quarters at last and looked every bit as good as last year - but for one game ... do the same next week at Shell/ Skilled/ Oops I mean Sym ... oh fark it - Kardinia freakin Park and I'll start feeling optimistic. Beat the Hawks and the Weagles in WeagleLand and that will have me booking accommodation in September (I'm a Geelong member but don't live in Vic)

    Im a cats fan and i was quite impressed tonight, they were magnificent for 90% of the game and if they continue to play like they did tonight they will be a hard team to beat regardless of which position they finish inside the 8.

    never write them off.

    Great win, I reckon an 8th placed finish and elimination final, semi if you're lucky, berth is what you'll end up with.
