Do you think Romney and the Republicans are complete and total cowards for hiding Bush away?
George W. Bush recently announced he would not be attending the Republican convention. Gee, I wonder why? Could it be that Romney and the Republicans are afraid that it will remind America of what it was like under the last Republican administration? I think this is an act of total and complete cowardice on their behalf. They have backed Bush's wars and economic policies for years but now they're too scared to have him show up and make a speech? They should have the guts to show the American people who they really are instead of pretending to be something else and hiding him out of sight. This is hypocrisy and deception at its very worst. Cowards!

"This is hypocrisy and deception at its very worst. "
Can you explain how Bush announcing that he won't be coming is deception at it's very worst?
It's really simple. Bush wasn't super popular among the party, while most republicans liked a lot of what he did, the majority really didn't like his fiscal policies - Romney is running on fiscal policies and his policies are far from what Bush subscribed to - so why would Bush attend?
Besides, Bush sits in a home every day now and hears Obama get up and whine about how all of his problems were caused by Bush.
This is a typical lib illogical outburst - like the tax returns that you want released, Bush's presence would be helpful to the dems so they could target him and ridicule him and if he doesn't attend, then that is somehow hypocrisy and deception at its very worst.

Okay, you are talking about cowards? Take a look at your beloved president not showing up for the D-day memorial service. Being the ONLY president since the event that didn't show up. If you want to see a bunch of cowards take a look at the lying liberal and socialist president we have right now. Coward!

The fact that Obama allowed haliburtons blank check contract to continue till this day and be expanded to Afghanistan is enough to keep bush silent forever

Bush makes his OWN decisions, and will decide to attend or not on his own. He believes the Presidential position deserves respect, whether or not he agrees with him.
Fo that reason he does not get involved in politics right now, and I think that is reputable, considering the rabble in Washington right now.
