  • What to do with a hostile stray cat in my house?

My Dad lost his beloved cat and went around the neighborhood looking for it. Long story short, a neighbor thought he'd found it and my Dad, not realizing it wasn't him, let it loose in the house after being examined by a vet. Well it wasn't the right cat and now we have a very hostile, unfriendly stray cat in our house. Luckily he doesn't come out much and hides behind the microwave 99% of the day coming out only at night briefly to eat and drink. He hisses at our 3 other cats and attacks us if we come near him. What should we do about this cat? We've tried leaving the door open for him to leave but he just goes behind the microwave again, not taking the opportunity to be free. Should we let animal control catch him? Or let things continue as they have been? Any other suggestions?

  • So why do you Republicans like paying other people's medical bills so much?

You complain so much about Americans being forced to buy health insurance or else face a fine. You should be celebrating! When the millions of uninsured people in this country go to a hospital or ER, who do you think pays their bills? Us! Obamacare brings an end to this unfairness by forcing these deadbeats to buy their own insurance so we're not forced to pick up their tab any longer. Having 30 million uninsured people hurts EVERYONE and I don't know about you but I'm not that generous. Wake up and stop believing the Republican lies on behalf of insurance companies who make their living off the backs of sick people.

  • Two vicious stray dogs killed my beloved cat of 7 years. What to do if I find them?

My beautiful cat was mauled to death by two huge stray dogs recently and it was absolutely heartbreaking. That cat was like my best friend and burying its torn up body was one of the hardest things I've ever had to do. I have not seen the dogs running about lately which makes me suspect they belong to someone and escape every so often to wreak havoc around the neighborhood. They are very large dogs and I've heard they've killed many other cats around the neighborhood. I may have just found out who owns them. If so, what are my options when I speak to the owner? Are there any legal repercussions if your dogs go around murdering other people's pets? Or does he does get off scott free with an assurance he'll try to prevent them from escaping again? Can I call animal control to have the dogs impounded even if they're now in his backyard? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

  • Are you aware that 84% of Welfare States in this country are Republican or Red States?

I keep hearing you Republicans whine about how Obama is going to turn us into a socialist country where lazy people depend on the government for handouts. Well are you aware that 84% of Welfare States in this country are Republican or Red States? Of the 32 states that receive more than they contribute, 27 are Republican. Conversely, 78% of the states that contribute more than they receive (14 of 18) are Democratic or Blue States. So while you preach about personal responsibility and not relying on government, it turns out you're the worst offenders of all! And the Democratic states are picking up the tab. Ironically, you were shooting yourselves in the foot by voting for Romney because if he'd won, he'd have cut off that welfare to your states or significantly reduced it, making your people suffer to pay for his tax cuts for the rich.

  • Do you think the Republicans hiding away Bush, Cheney and Rumsfeld from their convention...?

...Will make Americans forget the years 2001-2009? If so, they must think the American people are either really forgetful or really dumb. Having a Republican convention without Bush is like having a Star Trek convention without Shatner.

  • Do you think Romney and the Republicans are complete and total cowards for hiding Bush away?

George W. Bush recently announced he would not be attending the Republican convention. Gee, I wonder why? Could it be that Romney and the Republicans are afraid that it will remind America of what it was like under the last Republican administration? I think this is an act of total and complete cowardice on their behalf. They have backed Bush's wars and economic policies for years but now they're too scared to have him show up and make a speech? They should have the guts to show the American people who they really are instead of pretending to be something else and hiding him out of sight. This is hypocrisy and deception at its very worst. Cowards!

  • When you're fighting someone, what part of his body should you be looking at to best defend yourself?

Should you be looking at his eyes? His hands? His torso? I've been watching alot of MMA and I'm not quite sure what these guys are watching when they fight eachother. Should you be watching different parts of the body when you're at different distances? For example, the hands when you're close, the feet when you're farther apart? What do the pros do?

  • Is it legal for my neighbor to put traps in his backyard to catch and kill stray cats?

Our neighbor told us that he was doing so and recently we've been discovering a few cats turning up at our doorstep with horrible wounds to their limbs which I suspect are the result of these traps. A few of the cats we used to see have mysteriously disappeared too. If he does happen to be the reason (I'll ask him about it) is it legal for him to do something like this or would this be considered animal cruelty under the law? What should I do about this? Its horrible to see these poor cats, some very sweet and friendly, turning up with terrible injuries.

  • If Trayvon Martin had shot Zimmerman under the exact same circumstances...?

Do you think he would have been arrested or would he have been given the same free pass by the cops as Zimmerman did under Florida's stand your ground law? Or to put it another way, if Zimmerman had been black and Martin white, would the result have been the same?

  • Isn't it amazing that the Republican candidates hate the government so much...?

...Yet are spending millions and doing everything in their power to become the leader of that same government? Isn't it also amazing that all of them despise government healthcare yet every single one of them while they were in office enjoyed that same government healthcare system for years and not one gave it up to go buy their own private insurance? Isn't that hypocrisy at its finest?

  • Do you agree that Hendo-Rua was the best fight in UFC history?

I'd definitely agree that it was one of the best fights ever but is it THE best? I'm racking my brains to think of other fights that were as good or better than this one. Ben Henderson-Donald Cerrone I comes to mind but that was in the WEC. Ironically, another amazing fight happened tonight when Michael Chandler beat Eddie Alvarez for the Bellator LW belt. Just an all out back and forth war for 4 rounds. Can you think of any fights that were as good or better than Hendo-Rua in MMA (not just UFC) history? Best answer gets 10 points.

  • If I get a Red light photo ticket and its not me in the photo, do I have to turn the driver in?

I live in California and my son was my driving my car when he got flashed at a red light. The ticket came addressed to me since I'm the registered owner of the vehicle. At the back of the ticket, it says if its not me in the photo, I'm required to identify the person who was driving along with his details and mail the form back in. Otherwise, the citation will be in my name. However, and this is the important part, I've heard that under California law, I'm not LEGALLY obligated to identify who was driving my vehicle. Is that true? And if its true, should I just state on the form that its not me and no identify my son? Why should I ID him and force him to pay a $440 fine (ridiculous!) if I'm not legally required to do so? What should I do?

  • Do you think Dan Henderson will ever hold a UFC belt?

Hendo's stated goal is to hold a UFC belt before he retires but to do so, he'll have to either beat Anderson Silva at MW or Jon Jones at LHW and both dudes have been nearly unstoppable in their weight classes. Though the odds are long, Hendo has continuously defied the odds (and his age) to win the Strikeforce belt and defeat a much larger and younger Fedor. Do you think Hendo will achieve his dream of holding a UFC belt or do you think that's just a pipe dream because the current champs are just too damn good? Heck, do you think he'll even get past Shogun, a guy who's fighting well and 12 years Hendo's junior?

  • If I receive a traffic ticket, is there a way to pay it off in installments?

Say I get flashed at a red light and receive a hefty ticket to pay off and I can't afford the whole amount, is there a way to pay it off in monthly installments? If so, how much do the installments usually run? This is my first ticket. I live in California if that helps. Thanks for the info.

  • Do you think it would be cool to have Ocean's 14 ripping off a Wall Street bank?

I think it be wonderful to see Clooney, Pitt, and Damon do a major, believable caper involving some Wall Street bankers like Goldman or Morgan Stanley and then do something good with the money. I know "Tower Heist" is similar to that but its more of a crazy comedy than a believable con-film. What do you think, would it be cool to get Danny's crew back together again to rip off Wall Street instead of just another casino? Maybe Michael Douglas could play the bad guy?

  • Which UFC fighters do you think are gay?

Dana White recently encouraged any gay fighters in the UFC to come out saying he doesn't have a problem with it. I don't either but it started me wondering, which fighters could possibly be gay? Which ones do you suspect or know of?

  • Was Nadal's loss to Dodig the worst of his career?

I can't remember Rafa losing to so lowly ranked an opponent in such an early round, can you? Has he ever lost to a lower ranked player than Dodig before (in the past 6 years)? He's been so incredibly consistent and focused that this loss is an absolute shocker.
