Why are all Police Officers Lazy?

Never had one help me yet. They are SOOOOOOO lazy when it comes to doing their jobs, I am ashamed to have my tax dollars pay for their glutinous lifestyles.

I'm not a cop myself, but have worked in the criminal justice system for an internship, did several ride along's with the police as well, as well as worked closely with police when I worked in retail Loss Prevention.

I have seen some police officers who are very lazy, and some who are extremely hard working. The simplest answer is, there are lazy people in every occupation, and Police officers are no exception to this.

I will agree that Police officers can be on the lazy side, and if I had to attribute to this to any one factor, it would be that all public sector and government jobs are heavily unionized, therefore it is very difficult to fire someone in that job even if it is well deserved.

In a private sector job if you are lazy as hell, you will probably get fired sooner or later. This is not often times true with public sector jobs.

Some police officers are lazy but not all of them. Some do their job but some of them like eating and becoming fat so they are bored to move...

I wish you could find some good police officers.Only then you would see their real job.

People who can't handle the stress of a law-enforcement career turns to eating and other methods of slacking for relief. Although the lack of description regarding your situation could just be a case of being rude.

    Depends where you live in.

Here in San Francisco if you ask a cop to help you carry a bag full of grocery there is no way s/he will refuse. They will actually give you a ride if it's close.
