If you could travel to any point in time, where would you go, and what would you do?

Question

Imagen time travel was a possibility, and you was the lucky person who worked out how to do it. Where would you go back, or forward to, and what would you do? 
The rules are, you can't take any physical objects with you (ie books, computers, tablets, Beatles LP's) it would just be you, and the knowledge in your head. You can travel to any point in time, and you can come back, but you can only do it once.

I would go back in time to the 40's or 50's and begin writing books. The books would be fiction in order so I could be forever known as the grandfather of comic-con and everything similar.

I wouldn't go back further because of sanitary conditions and no or very poor toilets. Toilets are a must.

Go back to 1900. Then I would work until I made $100 dollars or so. Then I would stick it in the bank and return to present time. Then have lots of money. Please note that I did not think this through at all and may be completely illogical; it's just an idea.

Sorry too sensible to be creative on this one.

I'd go forward a few days memorise the winning lottery numbers and come back and buy a ticket like any sensible person would.
