1 AnswerMovies1 year agoWhat does being civil with an ex mean to you?
We've all had them, ex boyfriends/girlfriends/husbands and wives. Most of the time, it ends in a bad way, like mine did. Anyway, after a few years of bickering, she said things are now 'civil' between us, but what does civil mean? Is it good, bad, cool, still not happy but willing to talk? Is it different between people?
Opinions guys????

2 AnswersCurrent Events8 years agoWhy is the bbc making such a big issue about Nelson Mandela being in hospital?
This isnt meant to be a racist question, so no racist answers please.
I swear, every day for the past month, the BBC has had a story, be it on the news, or online about 'Former South African Prime Minister, Nelson Mandela is in hospital', okay, fair enough, yet, Former British Prime Minister, Margaret Thatcher was in hospital a few times prior to her death, yet there was no news reports about that until she died, even when Prince Philip was in hospital, there wasnt many reports about that, and hes the Queen of England's husband.
Am I missing something here, like, do the BBC owe Nelson Mandela some kind of debt or something?
17 AnswersCurrent Events8 years agoEmployment and support allowance and studying?
Hi all!
Quick question, Im currently receiving Contribution based Employment and Support allowance, as I have a chronic illness, yet I wish to go to college. As I'll be taking an access course, which is under 16 hours a week.
Will this effect my ESA? I spoke to the DWP, and the didnt really know, but said if I wrote a letter with my 'national insurance number' I'd get an answer, but Im worried that the DWP will re-asses my benefit before I've even started college.
Can anyone tell me if college will effect my benefit?
2 AnswersLaw & Legal8 years agoIs kickz.com a legit site?

3 AnswersOther - Electronics8 years agoDoes plusnet isp throttle there fibre connection?
I'm currently with Eclipse for my fibre optic internet connection.
The package im on gives me 40mbps download speed, and Im on an unlimited package..... Well, unlimited from 2300-0900hrs, then its throttled, and for £59.99 that's not really getting my moneys worth!
Im thinking about changing to Plusnet Unlimited Fibre Broadband, but cant find if they throttle or not.
Could anyone tell me if I'd be getting my full download speed, 24/7?
3 AnswersComputer Networking8 years agoDo people on Employment and Support Allowance (ESA) get free dental care?
Next month, im changing from Incapacity Benefit (IB) Employment and Support Allowance (ESA). Under IB, I had to pay for my own dental treatment (Even though 99% of my income was being used for things like paying my mortgage/bills ect)
Does anyone know if the new ESA covers you for free dental treatment?
2 AnswersDental9 years agoSettings for netgear wnr2200 port forwarding and utorrent?
Hi all, I've got a netgear wnr2200, and basically, I'm having a bit of a nightmare trying to set up port forwarding for utorrent, I'm only getting speeds of 40kbps, on a 50mbps connection.
Does anyone know how to set up the port forwarding on this router, so I can get the speeds I should be getting?
1 AnswerOther - Internet9 years agoShare my Internet access with my estate?
So, I live in medium sized estate (about 100-150 houses), it's quite a new estate, so not a lot of houses have the Internet yet. I currently have 50mbps (truly unlimited/uncapped) broadband access, which I would like to share with people.
I have quite a good, wireless N router, but that only just reaches next doors computer.
Is there any omnidirectional/high gain type routers, that would pump out my Internet to about a 1 mile radius, so the residence could benifit? I already have software set up, it's just the physical equipment I need help with?
5 AnswersComputer Networking9 years agoHow soon can I have a pint of larger after ZOOM! Dental whitening?
Okay, basically I'm having Zoom! Advanced power dental whitening next Monday afternoon, I have a function the same evening. I know your not supposed to eat or drink anything that could stain your teeth 48hrs after, so I won't be having tomato soup or red wine, and thing like that, but is larger okay, or am I condemned to water all evening???
1 AnswerDental9 years agoIf you could travel to any point in time, where would you go, and what would you do?
Imagen time travel was a possibility, and you was the lucky person who worked out how to do it. Where would you go back, or forward to, and what would you do?
The rules are, you can't take any physical objects with you (ie books, computers, tablets, Beatles LP's) it would just be you, and the knowledge in your head. You can travel to any point in time, and you can come back, but you can only do it once.
10 points to the most creative answer :)
3 AnswersPhysics9 years agohow do I send a direct twitter message to someone whos not following me?
Long and short of it, is I meet this girl the other day, and I really like her, and think she likes me too. Her friend gave me her twitter addy, but because of the privacy on both of our accounts, she cant see any comments I make, and she cant find me.
I know there are/were(?) various apps to send a direct message to a non follower, but don't know where to look or start.
Any help guys?
3 AnswersOther - Internet9 years agoHelp, I'm growing a monobrow!!!?
Okay, so basically I'm a 30 year old male, and I like to keep myself in good condition, and I'm well presented.
I've realised a mono brow is slowly growing, and it's kind of freaking me out! I don't want to shave it, because I don't want it to grow back faster and thicker. What I'd like to know is, are there any good (proven) products in the uk to help with removal, or to thin it, or anything like that?
7 AnswersOther - Skin & Body9 years agoIs there a number for uk customs?
I've had something in customs clearance since the 29th, I know this because I tracked it, though I've had no notification from customs about if/when it's going to be released, and how much there going to rip me off on tax. I've been trying to find a number so I can call them, but to no avail.
Does anyone know the official number or email for uk customs?
