HID headlight kit problem?

I bought the complete kit ( lights,bulbs,ballasts). When I turn them on, the radio goes to static ! Can't hear music until I turn them off. Is there a supressor or shunt that needs installed that didn't come in the kit ?

    Either that or you have a defective ballast.
