People in any religion would be proud to be in it. Some people anyways.

We are happy with our religion and proud to be Muslims because our religion promotes equality (no matter what the media says), love, compassion, and the oneness of God. We believe in one God--and that is our religion.

"Proud" is not the word I would use.
