Leviticus 25:44 states that I may possess slaves, provided they are purchased from neighboring states?

I am a Canadian. Where can I buy some americans? Should I worry about them surviving our harsh canadian winters and mosquitoes?

Well, since you're not living under the Mosaic law in the ancient Israel, that law doesn't apply at all, now, does it?

    Forgive me.

You still have to follow it, according to Matt 5:17-18, Luke 16:17, James 2:8-11, 2 Timothy 3:16, Romans 3:31, Matthew 15:3-9.

Leviticus 25:44 was a law for the nation of Israel. Are you part of the nation of Israel? No? Well, then, you are not under that law. To apply it to yourself would be about as ridiculous as deciding that you can drive as fast as you can in Canada because they let you do it on the autobahn in Germany.

there are a lot of things the bible says about slavery. some jews teach that old testament slavery is more like being an indentured servant.

the things done by blacks on blacks is worse than what God intends for servants

some blacks as slaves in U.S. history actually live better than i do today.

in american slavery didnt end it just changed color and was given a minimum wage

Noah himself cursed the sons of Ham to become slaves of slaves.

have you heard about the new covenant?

it is also called the new testament. You are referring to an Old Testament scripture. Jesus ushered in the new covenant of grace, and Christians are therefore not bound by old covenant laws. We follow God's spiritual law of love towards Him, others and self. it would hardly be loving to do those things as an unbeliever, especially when Jesus set the example of interacting with all kinds of people, believers and unbelievers.

Old testaments are part of the Covenant between God and the Hebrews. It never applied to the Gentiles and was fulfilled by Christ meaning it does not apply to Christian.

hmm, you would have to find a human trafficer, but remember Exodus 21:20, its only ok to beat your slave as long as he or she gets up within 2 days! XD

Sure, you know the only arguments slavers could come up with before the civil war was the bible...bearing in mind that both the KKK and the Nazi party are both christian organizations

    Yep.

And you can beat them mercilessly, as long as they don't die within a couple of days, with no punishment.

And if they do die from you beating them, you have to pay a fine, but no other punishment.

    Gotta love the bible.

    Not.

    Peace.
