Do liberals realize that their primitive, emotion based economic ideals were tried 95 years ago in Russia?
I love how you deny that you support communism and then defend it in the next sentence. lol

Deficits don’t matter. We wouldn’t have any debt if we didn’t give handouts to the rich, who get the biggest hand-out of all: the right to pay no taxes on municipal bond interest and the right to collect interest on T-bills that Congress forces Treasury to sell at a market rate. Over the last century, trillions have been redistributed from the middle class taxpayer to the 1%. Why should Big Gummint hand out these benefits to the 1% when it could just print the money?
Why fear Weimar inflation that can’t happen with 25 million looking for work? Look at the evidence:
1) Lincoln financed the Civil War by printing a ton of greenbacks that eventually retained its nominal value and is today still accepted, if you are lucky enough to find one.
2) FDR financed WW II by having the Fed buy T-bills "...at any price and in any quantity..." After the war, workers, veterans, and contractors created our golden age with their wartime savings and profits. And Big Gummint paid for veterans housing and education, the Marshall Plan, Cold War rearmament, the Korean War, the Interstate Highway System, a man on the moon, the Vietnam War, the war on poverty, a dozen proxy wars, and created such a boom (with little inflation) that the post-war debt-to-GDP ratio declined from 130% to 30% in 35 years. The huge WW II debt was never paid. It still exists as an insignificant fraction of our annual debt interest expense.
3) After Big Gummint printed almost $2T out of thin air with TARP and the stimulus and the Fed inflated us with QE1, QE2, and Operation Twist, core inflation was still under 2.5% in mid-2011.
Yes, Big Gummint can fix infrastructure without inflation as long as there is serious unemployment.
Yes, Big Gummint can monitor both inflation and unemployment. When the lawn is wet enough, stop sprinkling! It’s that simple!

Apparently you have no idea of what was going on 95 years ago in Russia nor what Communism is. The liberals practice neither. What the most liberal of liberals profess is democratic socialism which does not even relate to communism. z

Liberals are like women, they think with their emotions, not their brains.
I would love to help everyone. I wish everyone success. I would love to give everyone pensions, free health care, free phones, and give every child a laptop at school.
But I'm from the real world. I know those things cost money. Money that "someone" has to earn.
There was a great book about how communism almost ruined China. Farmers were begging for food, because no one wanted to work and plant crops that everyone else was going to just take. Wish I could remember the name.

Oh, please.
Please hold the horse manure; keep it for fertilizing your garden.
If you don't think there's any difference between US style political liberalism and Russian Bolshevism, you really don't know much about Russian Bolshevism.
Please do some actual reading and study on this subject, using the works of reputable historians, and try to learn a bit about how the Bolshevik Revolution began, what it attempted to do, and what it turned into under Stalin's dictatorship & why.
Just throwing around slogans like "liberalism = Communism" shows that you're ignorant, or woefully dishonest, or both.

Why do republicans think all liberals are communists? And why do all republicans think Marxist theory is bad? Further, why do all republicans fail to recognize that the reason Marxism didn't work in the Soviet Union is because it was corrupted by demagogues at the top of government (sort of like the Republican demagogues we have in the United States today)?

It's a lost cause. You can give them 1000 examples of socialism that failed 1000 times, and they will continue to claim the right people were not running it. It's sort of like when they want to falsely accuse somebody by using the phrase they may or may not have been involved, in their indictment ,

Do conservatives realize that their primitive emotion, might-makes-right was tried back in prehistoric times when dinnasaurs roamed the earth?

Liberals try to deny they are communists in one sentence then spout communist slogans like power to the workers and spread the wealth in the next.

Don't your republicans know that their economic ideas were tried in the 1920's and 30's. What did we call the 1930's oh yeah the great depression.
