Why do cons think it should be easier to get an AK47 than a driver's license?

because guns don't kill people. They guy was simply pointing his finger at people in Colorado.

cars were invented to transport people. Guns were invented to kill.

How many people do you know killed by an assault rifle? Count them. Now how many people do you know that were killed in a car accident? Also, driving is a privilege while gun ownership is a right. You can own a car without a drivers license, if you plan on driving on the streets you'll need a license. You can own an AK47 without a license, but if you plan on carrying it in the streets you'll need to not only be licensed but most likely a police officer.

Compare apples to apples.

So you are saying that it is easier to come up with $500-$1000 dollars than it is to come up with $5-$25 dollars?

Why do you think that it is easier to be licensed to "carry"than to get a driver's license.

Because under the constitution you have a right to weapons you don't have a right to drive.

They also think we all have to get voter IDs to vote because its not an imposition, but to get a gun registration ID is a violation of our constitutional rights.

Its easy to see what they are most afraid of losing.

How many people die from a gunshot wound every year? How many people die in an automobile accident every year?
