Could you paraglide to a trip such as a vacation?

How fast would you go and what distance could you cover in one day? If you could pull it off it would be money efficient

Not effectively, no. You would need some way to get to a suitable launching altitude every day and be in terrain with adequate flying conditions gto make any sort of distance. Paragliders are not efficient flyers and have a very poor glide ratio.

Realistically, no. Not only are paragliders slow (about 20 mph), they're also very limited by weather (you might find yourself stuck half way with bad weather) and you can't carry any luggage.

Some paraglider pilots have gone on multi day camping excursions by carrying minimalist camping gear, but only in very few places in the world are this possible (long mountain ranges, for example).

You won't go anywhere far as your car can go with one tank of gas.
