The nrotc website says that you have to list and apply to 5 schools in which you would want that scholarship. If you would only want the scholarship at 1 school can you just list 1 and then apply to the college program for that school if you don't get the scholarship?

I am talking about the time it takes after completing preliminary application. And of course assuming you are deemed competitive.

I realize to be an officer in the merchant marine you must graduate from a maritime academy. Would you get a good rank if you went to a normal college and obtained a degree in marine or ocean engineering?

What is better as an adult and does the most serious work in the community? What are some pros and cons of each?

I am a junior and here is my info:

4.3 gpa

710 math sat

660 writing sat

590 reading sat

I play volleyball

Tan 25.4 = x/h

Tan 34.7 = h/1000-x

I have so far

X = h/ tan(25.4)

So

Tan 34.7 = h/ 1000 - (h/tan 25.4)

How to solve for h?

If you didn't get a pilot slot which branch would be better to serve in? What are the officer jobs in the navy?

Are you called to duty often? Or is it more just dealing with a whole bunch of kids for the aerospace education program? And do you do training exercises often?

When fishing with a worm and a size 8 hook I hope to catch some decent sized bluegill. It is much smaller than my hand and is a greenish color at edges and becomes more white toward the stomache.

Just shift the gears. When I am going down a big hill should I have the car in gear 3 with lower rpms or in 2 with higher rpms

How fast would you go and what distance could you cover in one day? If you could pull it off it would be money efficient

Pilots get paid only $20,000 a year while they put in hard and technical work and are sometimes forced to be on the job for 16 hours. That is a huge turnoff for someone looking to become a pilot.
