The mission for each is different. I can tell you about CAP. CAP adults (called Senior members), often act as the adult supervision for cadets in the CAP Cadet Program. They are there in the varied training, bivouacs, encampments and weekly meetings in support of cadets. Seniors also can train to work in the emergency services side of CAP. They can work to be air crew on SAR missions, communications, briefing officers, mission coordinators, ground team, etc. They also get involved in disaster relief missions too.
