Navy vs airforce aviator?

If you didn't get a pilot slot which branch would be better to serve in? What are the officer jobs in the navy?

The Air Force gets 90+% of its aviators from the AF Academy and AFROTC. Getting a pilot slot "off the street" is virtually impossible.

The Navy has the greatest opportunity to become an aviator (pilot or Naval Flight Officer). As long as you meet the academic and physical requirements you can enter through Aviation Officer Candidate School where you will spend time in the loving care of United States Marine Corps Drill instructors.

It is not an easy path. Of the 33 Candidates who started in my class only seven of us were left to get our wings one year later.
