How long does it take to receive a candidate packet in the mail for usna?
I am talking about the time it takes after completing preliminary application. And of course assuming you are deemed competitive.

It depends, but the USNA is known for being the slowest. I personall y know a few people who got their response ON THE DAY OF THE DEADLINE!!!!
Side tip: It looks like you already sent the application, but for anyone else, tell your Congressman/Senator that "I just want to serve and I'll accept any Nomination to ANY Academy" This expands your chances ALOT!!!

As I understand it, everything is online now; the only time you receive something in the mail is your permit to report package and appointment.
