The high side is 225 and the low is 45. I changed the compressor, drier and expansion valve. But I did not evacuate the system. Is there maybe a blockage or Do I need to evacuate? There is some cold air coming out of the vents.I am using r134a.

If you didn't pull a vacuum you will NEVER get this system to work right. Plus, the moisture in the system will form acids and destroy the compressor. You can buy a vacuum pump on amazon.com for $85. Why in the world would you risk damage to expensive components and not have the proper charge to save a lousy $85? Not to mention that you'll waste all the refrigerant when you empty it to pull a vacuum now. bad bad decisions so far.

There is air in the system (that is probably your main problem) and the charge is not likely to be right. You can't use estimates based on the stated quantity of refrigerant in cans; a 10% error in the weight of refrigerant can damage the compressor by oil starvation or by slugging the compressor. This really is a job for a professional.
