Chances I have cancer?
For 6 months now I've had little to no appetite. My stomach/intestines constantly gurgle. After I eat, there is really no pain, but my stomach gets pretty unsettled to the point where I feel like I need to belch but I can't. Same with drinking any kind of fluid. It upsets my stomach. When I look in the mirror it looks pretty bloated but I'm not having any pain. I get gas pains periodically, too. Or at least I think they're gas pains, cause it mostly hurts when I press into my abdomen or sometimes a sudden shock of pain on the left or right side of my abdomen. Also, my poops sometimes come out string like. They're brown but they just smell weird. I don't think I've ever seen blood, or if I thought I did, I threw a sheet of my colon disease test paper in there and it always came back negative. Please, I just want to get back to normal. I hate seeing all my friends enjoy their lives while I can not. I've gotten CBC, Upper gi x-ray, mri of the abdomen, gluten/thyroid blood test done, and all of them came back negative. Seriously, what could this be? I'm like afraid I'm dying or something since doctors can't find out what's going on. I"m only 20 years old and I ran track throughout highschool and I am a fit person, so I really don't understand it. I force myself to eat just so that I don't lose weight. (Which I'm not. I'm staying around the same weight for the most part; is that a good thing??) I know everyone comes on here and says 'We are not doctors we can not help you' but I've been to the doctor/ hospital and they're not helping at all, so it'd be great to hear someone elses' opinion. Please & Thank you so much.
P.S. The hospital I went to for all of this apparently has a horrible reputation.

Hi,
It sucks that your feeling like this, and I really hope this will end soon.
First, there are many posibilities that this is happening. It could be one illness, or multiple illness put together that causes these affects
First of all, your poop. It could be diarrhea and usually when you have diarrhea, you don't see blood. Or you could have just eaten something bad these few months, and you've been eating it a lot lately.
Second of all, the no appetite part: this could be any problem really. Here are a list of problems I got from a website. I'm pretty sure it's true:
Addison's Disease
Cancer
Cat Scratch Disease
Childhood Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL)
Coxsackie Virus
Dementia
Depression
Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease (GERD) (this one can refer to your Gas Pains)
GERD and Acid Reflux in Infants and Children
Infectious Mononucleosis
Kidney Failure
Legionnaires' Disease
Peptic Ulcer
Postpartum Depression
Rheumatoid Arthritis
Rocky Mountain Spotted Fever
Stress
Stroke
Yellow Fever
Any of these could be the case. Or it could be none. If you want to see which one matches your condition most, you can visit this site that I used: http://www.medicinenet.com/loss_of_appetite/sympto...
Third, about your feeling like you need to puke. This, again, could be caused by anything:
1. You ate something bad.
2. You have diarrhea. Diarrhea can cause making you feel like you need to puke too (from my own experience. Don`t know if it`s exactly true, but there is a possibility.)
3. Your sick. For example the flu or fever
Fourth, it isn't really easy to figure if staying at around the same weight is a good thing or bad thing. It depends on you, how your body works. But as long as your fit, I'm guessing its a good thing.
Last, I would recommend to visit a new doctor and hospital. If the doctor/hospital you are going to now isn't helping, visit more doctors so they give you different advice and see if they can help you.
I really hope you get better, and good luck :)

It doesn't matter about the hospital reputation it is the test results that will be correct but as for your question there is no reason to show you have any type of cancer and the stomach gas could be various reasons and some people just have a lot of gas, enjoy your life in case in the future you get any type of illness as life is too short to worry, Good Luck
