Orientation of Door Butt hinges?
I'm just wondering, say, you have butt hinge for a swing-in door, that would mean that the ball-part of the hinge would be facing towards the interior side. Would that orientation be changed if it would be installed in a swing-out door?
If so, does that mean that there will be doors which will have exposed part of hinge and there would be some that will not be exposed? I'm just curious because I think that would be not nice at all.

The 'ball part' is always on the 'swing to' side.
FYI A door lock isn't much use if the hinge is mounted so that
somebody call pull those pins from the outside.
