Small led solar powered motion sensitive lights?

I saw a commercial for these lights that turn on by motion and are powered through solar power and interior lighting. They were pretty small and bright. Unfortunately, the commercial was on at like 3a.m. so of course my "GAF" was turned off.

I am building a shadow box for a friend and would like to use them in it. Does anyone have a clue as to what commercial or company or type of light i am talking about? Been scanning the net for hours.

I didn't see the commercial so I can't give you a direct answer, but for years I've had a solar powered PIR (Passive Infrared)-activated security light outside my premises. I installed it myself after buying it from an electronics 'wholesaler' in Wellington, New Zealand.

I haven't found exactly what I have in the current on-line catalogue but if you look at 'Solar Powered 3W LED Sensor Light' you might find something similar to what you want.

Having a motion sensitive lights is a very good for security reason. Its even better if you get a solar powered light as you'll be doing a part of conserving energy. Get the lights at this website for good and reliable quality.

I have seen the commercial the first person is talking about. PIR s are great as LED s are and solar is wonderful, however, anyone who has to stoop so low as that commercial does can never be trusted.

I have never seen any commercial made to deceive the public as that one does. Throughout the 30 or 60 second play time they show the solar powered LED under the eve of the garage where no sun could possibly reach the solar panels, they show this impossible placement. In-Addison, they make fools of anyone who believes that with a little double-sided tape will stick to stucco and last of more then a few minutes has never built anything.

Please DO NOT BUY from someone who s product cannot stand on it own.
