Absolutely not! The Intel HD 2000, and 3000 are horrible. I have an AMD A6-3400 laptop and the graphics that are in it benchmark at almost twice as fast as the Intel HD 3000. I can play BF3, Call of Duty, NBA 2k12 and all of my games on high settings, but GTA 4 is the only game I have that struggles a bit and would be completely unplayable on the Intel HD 3000. I can tell that there is Just enough power to play BF3, Call of Duty at high settings, and know that the Intel HD 3000 would be absolutely horrible. Go to CPU Benchmark dot com and look under the videocard tab. BTW I'm only using the ATI graphics that are built into the CPU. I think it's 6550 series or 6520.

No. The reason is because any integrated gpu is integrated specifically because it is only meant to run pretty much anything your "typical" user would need, but nothing more. If you will be running more hardware intensive programs like a game, you will need a stronger card. I speak from experiece, I have an i3 chip on a motherboard with 2 available PCI-E x16 slots and an integrated nvidea. That couldn't even run minecraft beyond medium settings. The moment I replaced the card for an Nvidea gtx 550 the fps jumped to over 700 fps (but got terrible tearing, so I had to put on vsync).
If you want to know for sure, you can see what the requirements are on any game you wish to run (bf3 is one the most demanding, so this should be the benchmark). If you compare those requirements against the computers integrated gpu then you can see. Seriously though, integrated sucks for gaming,

You'd probably be able to play it but not exactly the best quality. Your better of dropping some money on a real graphics card so you can have a better experience.

the i3 PROCESSOR is ok.
using it as a GFX CARD AS WELL.... is not.
having an integrated vs REAL gfx card
is like riding a bike vs a sportscar..
no. you probably would get away with minecraft.
