Faith is more than believing in God. Hebrews 11:1 defines it this way: "Faith is the assured expectation of things hoped for, the evident demonstration of realities though not beheld." This means that when things aren't always clearly defined, faith is what keeps you going. There are many things we can exercise faith in. When it comes to God, faith comes into play in the sense that although we cannot see him, we know and have faith that he exists because of answered prayers, examining creation, fulfilled prophecies in the Bible, etc. Comprende?

Nobody has shown that God can be proven, and the definition of "faith" would remain the same regardless of whether one could prove something. If one could prove a God exists, faith would not be required to hold the belief, but faith would still be faith.

A person starts with faith...then once God reveals Himself to a person, then that person knows that God is real ...that is called a testimony.

Still even then there is more...because just because a person knows God is real, that still doesn't guarantee a person salvation...After a person knows that, a person must press on and make their "calling and election sure"...that is spoken about in the New Testament...it is then that person would know that they are saved.

We can safely assume that God has been proven to be non-existant by the modern science. Most scientists just don't say it so directly, out of 'respect'.

Because you can't see Him, smell Him, touch Him, or anything until you get to Heaven. But it Has been proven that He spoke to many people. He is like the air, but He is greater than the air.

How did you prove it? And figments of the imagination don't count as proof.
