look at matriarchal societies - are they less progressive?

recall history - number of women accused of sorcery by the clergy and burnt at the stakes. this is the ugly history of man!!

its timely that women be allowed to take their rightful place in universal governance. and they shouldnt compete with men.

they should complement each other.

I'm a woman and I totally agree with you. I mean when you look at other countries such as Afghanistan where women have no rights it's easy to see the positive effect this has on their society. They have foreign troops invading because they can't stop terrorists putting bombs outside their schools, many have fled their homes to escape the conflict and are forced to live in caves and the average life expectancy is 43 years old. Yes sir when I look at the world super power that is Afghanistan I marvel at the way the men have run it so successfully.

I don't agree with you that men are "smarter than women," but only that men are DIFFERENT than women... Quite different! However, I do understand the essence of your rant, and what you're getting at.

You believe our society has been trying to put round pegs into square holes, and vice-versa, just to prove it can be done and should be done. Right? Well, prosperous societies tend to experiment and to take risks - many of which may seem reckless to some. The problem comes when those societies fail to realize when and how their experiments may be failing, and then fail to halt or reverse the experiment - unable to admit that the experiment is too costly.

In the case of women, if indeed we are catering to women in ways too excessive to sustain, there will be an inflection point or flash point at which we will realize we've taken things too far. If we don't realize it, we'll have to pay a price. On the other hand, if what we've done to further women in western civilization has been or will be beneficial to us and will keep us number one, you and those like you will be proven wrong - and you may have to pay!

In the mean time, I suggest you deal with things as they come. If you're being wronged by women's rights, go to court or seek other civilized means or redress. Otherwise, your rant is nothing more than an impotent display of desperate musing.
