I am atheist. I guess that ties into my views because none of them are based on what a god would want or where the aborted fetus/embryo would go or where i would go for doing that. My opinion is based on my belief that humans should never inhibit the life of another human. (this would only work in a perfect world, we obviously don't live in that world)

I think there isn't a yes or no answer to abortion. In a perfect world I think it shouldn't be necessary, but with irresponsible young people having sex, rape and incest the debate is obviously more complicated.

I can't imagine the pain of having to carry your rapist's child, but at the same time, the child didn't know or have anything to do with what happened so I can't say what I think there.

As far as people that are just too stupid to use protection, I think it is ridiculous that they get abortions. It is very very easy to not get pregnant and birth control is very easy to get at most clinics. It is often even free! So in that instance i get really pissed off.

I am also torn on young mothers. I think if they weren't smart enough to use protection they shouldn't be having sex, but its also unfair to the baby to be raised by a 15 year old. and having a baby at 15 sort of puts the rest of your life on hold for one dumb decision. Still, it would have taken them one 30 minute confidential appointment to get very cheap, if not free, birth control.

I think there are rare cases when abortion is the best option, but ultimately I think it is unfair to decide if someone else can live. To give some perspective, I am fully supportive of doctor assisted suicide because people should be able to control if they live or die, just not if other people do.

Ultimately, I just wish that people could be responsible enough that they don't have to be faced with the decision of an abortion.

Of course, I have never been in that situation (always use two forms of birth control), but maybe if I was I would think differently. Because of that, I do everything possible to avoid having to make that choice though.

I am pro-choice, but I don't think that is the result of my lack of religion.

Pro-CHOICE. I believe people should get to choose how to live their life. I've found that religion likes to take that freedom away. That's probably why I'm not religious.

No, I actually considered myself a Christian when I changed from Pro-life to Pro-choice.

Quite frankly, nothing from the Bible spoke to me as being against abortion.

I always thought it was far more concerned with not judging, and loving your neighbor, and not stealing or cheating.

I'm Pro-Choice. I think everyone should have a right to do what they wish, as long as it's inside the law.

    Politically I'm pro-choice

but personally...I think 7 tens out of 10 I'd wanna keep the kid (so long as I can financially support them) and ask her not to abort, but in the end that's still her choice.

    Pro life and pro choice

Pro life meaning I would prefer that she keeps the kid

Pro choice meaning respecting the womens right to choose whether or not she wants to have kids.

As a libertarian, I believe strongly in the right to life for everyone, regardless of how small or feeble they may be. Killing a baby violates that right to life. If a woman doesn't want to get pregnant, maybe she shouldn't be a slut. Occasionally, accidents do happen, and in those cases the woman needs to just suck it up and have a kid. If she doesn't want it, put it up for adoption. In the rare event that the woman's life is at risk by having the child, then the situation would need to be analyzed and extreme measures may or may not have to be taken.

Yes, I am pro-life because I believe that in general people deserve the right to get born without it taken away from them unnecessarily by others. When a woman gets pregant, the fetus ceases to be part of her and starts to become a potential person whom she is responsible before and non-necessity abortions are irresponsible and cruel in my opinion.

I have no religious beliefs and no religious beliefs influence my stand on abortion.

    atheist.

    pro choice.

and until the religious start adopting EVERY unwanted child, thats the way it'll stay.

telling a parent that DOES NOT want a child that they must have a child is absolutely reckless, and it wrecks society for everyone else
