I have a question ! Advice please . Easy 10pts?
I went to the hospital wed. I was in so much pain from my lower back to abdominal and pelvic pain. The doctor said I had lil blood in my urine, that caused concern but didnt want to do a ct scan on my ovaries because of the radiation and me being 21 years old I guess being young. It could be kidney stones she said too, but she said that tjey would treat it as a uti and since I had a fever they upped the antibiotics which is cipro 500mg. Im having all the side effects from this med. Nausea , dizzyness, pain in groin still, and more. I feel so weak . I dnt have an appetite either and wen I smell food it makes me very nausea as if im going to throw up. I have to go to work tomorrow. What should I do ??? Should I go back to the hospital ?? I dnt have insurance yet thats why I havent been to the doctor.

You can buy an over the counter product called Cystex for under $10. They sell it at Walmart etc. It is designed to relieve urinary tract pain and if you are passing kidney stones it should numb the urinary tract to relieve that pain. Also try some Acetaminophen or Ibuprofen to relieve the back pain, but if you do take Ibuprofen (Advil) you will need to take it with food because it can upset your stomach even more. Try eating some saltine crackers and 7Up for the nausea. Just take small sips at first. Also avoid caffeine because it can cause urinary pain. Hope that helps :) Also, if pain does not get better with the antibiotics, you need to find a clinic that is income based or even free to get rechecked.

Well if you don't have insurance that definitely go to the hospital and see how big of a big you can generate for someone else to pay. Have you given this medicine enough time to work? Find a clinic to go to Monday and forget the ER, you obviously can't afford to go there.

Well, i honestly would go back to the hospital because of all the symptoms..., but if you search hospitals that dont require insurance it should be cheaper and treat you without insurance... i have never been to one i have just heard of them, so your guess is just as good as mine but you should search and try to look around hope i helped!!

I hear what you're saying. I wonder what motivates your wife to make these comments? At any rate, what works for me is that I restructured my thinking, and went on to meet and marry my best friend. My wife sometimes calls me a pervert whenever I make any (even the slightest) comment about sex, sexiness or being romantic. She means it in jest of course because she always smiles when she says it, but initially, it didn't sit too well with me. I've had to let myself develop a bit of a sense of humour on that topic. So, part of it is her saying these things, and part of it is your reaction to it.

Well, if it's that bad, then you should definitely go back to the hospital because blood in the urine is not something that can't be handled with just you; you should go back.

Well what do you do, is it a sit down inside job, or an out side and lifting heave thinks. if you back is ok tomorrow you should go to work (unless its an out side job) if it really starts to hurt go back to the hospital and ask what you need to do.
