Left 4 Dead pink and black errors?
I have no clue what just happened but I was playing Left 4 Dead 1 (versus mode) and the whole map was filled with giant letter blocks that spelled ERROR. They were pink and black and acted in place of zombies, except they didn't hurt you, they just blocked you from moving anywhere.
This happened in a couple more matches until I decided to quit, but not before people started messaging me saying things like "Thanks for f*cking up online" and things of that nature. So, I was wondering what the hell is going on? Did I unintentionally ruin everyone's game? If so, how the hell did that happen???
I have no idea how to hack anyone at all. This is really weird.

The same exact thing is happening to me. It's really annoying. I think it's only temporary though. I hope. Let's just hope they fix this. This has never happened til recently and I have made no changes to my wifi or network in any way.

Sometimes wierd random things happen online, you could have a virus, the sever(s) could have been broken. A thing like that happened to me on L4D2 where the zombies turned into pink blocks and just stood there.

Your textures did not load. It happens from time to time. The other people might have experienced the same thing or simply thought your performance sucked because you kept running into these things.
