Who's the most underrated player at YOUR club?

So if i were to watch your team, who's a name I should be looking out for? With Adelaide, i'm not sure if people outside of SA will have heard much about him, but Brent Reilly is the pick for me.

St kilda rules - excellent call. Definitely Sean Dempster. Great defender who always keeps his opponent quiet, goes unnoticed and severely underrated but always plays his role beautifully, has a great kick on him too.

Another would have to be Farran Ray. Doesn't get mentioned in a team with riewoldt Hayes Goddard dal santo and so on, but always drops back and helps out the st kilda defence as well as taking a few strong marks and running hard all game.

Two players outside my club I have to mention who are really underrated are clancee Pearce and brad ebert

    Carlton

    Dennis Armfield - number 27

He runs all day. Play a really good defensive forward role and in recent weeks has been good for at least a goal a game.

Also people underestimate Waite. He is a top 10 key forward in the league.

I think it's changing, but it certainly has been Andrew Mackie. Three premiership cups, 25 possessions a game average, 5 tackles a game, shuts down Buddy, the Riewoldts and Cloke regularly, the quintessential link-man and a very sound organiser/leader. I think it's only now he's chiming in with a goal or two per game that people are noticing what he does.

Before his injury i would definately say Ben Johnson but since he hasn't played all year il pick someone else and say Jarryd Blair, pretty underrated in my opinion, he is a short little guy but has a great contested mark for his height, kicks goals and has games where he wins a lot of the ball

He plays the defensive forward role in the team, and does a good job of it. He is a hard-nut which is what the team needs. He's tackling and toughness is very valuable when he's on song.

Here's a video highlighting his toughness and determination:

I like Courtney Dempsey....he has great instincts collecting possessions in the defensive half of the field. He has pace, but he doesn't have great upper body strength to break tackles.

Since he came off knee surgery, he wasn't heavily counted on earlier. But he has improved through the season...

Hard one ... Raines, Patfull, Hanley and Maguire come to mind ... probably Raines for mine, gets the job on the superstar opposition player every week, not only keeps his own but can hit back in both the possession count and lately on the scoreboard too.

David Hille. He is literally one of the worst players i have ever seen. He was actually our captain at one point unbelievable he is a total dud

Edit: Whoops i thought you said overrated lol

    Underrated: Probably Courtnay Dempsey

I reckon at the Hawks a guy who busts his guts week in,week out, is always to be found on the bottom of the pack, not the greatest of kicks but more than serviceable, is, Brad Sewell.
