Dedicate a film to one of my favourite contacts?

I know I'm copying other people and this is a cheap question lol but I've been away from Y/A for a bit and miss everyone!! Please dedicate a film to each other or just one person, or whoever!

Forgive me if I forget some peoples current names :D

Suicidal Ice Cream Truck Driver

Logan

Rebellion Has its Perks

Witchcraft

Ryan Zazul

Harrison Ford

Comrade Good Looking

Saturn

Tamara Nartichti

Jack Nicholson

Liam

V

Gabriel

Mike

I hope I haven't forgotten anyone!!!

Happy Thursday :D :D

Update:

Thanks Comrade :) :) that's kind of what I thought, that you could all just dedicate films to whoever you wanted to. I love your choices, Salute :)

I dedicate one to you.........................................Dazed and Confused.

Update 2:

Okay that was supposed to say Dazed and Confused... ?! Lol.

Update 3:

Ryan, you're joint captain! Your answer made me laugh out loud AS EVER :D

Love the recommendation for me :) one of my favourites!!! Love your whole answer, I miss Tamara N too! She was a Tarantino Encyclopedia! I love Witchcraft too, she's brilliant!!!!

Hey Liam! I read on another question you've finished filming for your movie? Please tell me more!! I'm dying to know!!! Chopper, The Return - I shall watch it. From the title alone it sounds like something for me!! Yay :)

I think Witchcraft may already have Severence as a favourite movie!! Which I'm not saying to be 'clever' and ruin your recommendations (of course not!) I'm just saying it so you know how good your recommendations are :) have you read any good books lately?

Update 4:

Sorry Donny, whilst your knowledge of Martin Scorsese is second-to-none, I can't stand bullies.

Update 5:

Hey Jack!

Update 6:

Sorry I'm trying to add extra details but Y/A is being silly!!!!

Update 7:

V!! aka Tim Bovine :) thanks for answering my friend. LOVE Tucker and Dale! Have you seen Jack Brooks Monster Slayer? It's of a similar vein :) and hey shut up saying your recommendations won't be that good, that's rubbish - they're brilliant! Thank you for answering :)

(((jack nicholson)))

Update 8:

Harrison Ford Ford Ford! (hugs)

Update 9:

Urgh for some reason just keeps deleting the extra info I am adding!

Jack, Submarine is on my lovefilm list anyway!! You really know how to recommend something the person will enjoy, genius! Harrison Ford, sorry the user 'Mike' is actually 'Jim' (with a willy wonker display picture), I called him Mike by accident as sometimes he uses that name (wow, over explanation) and I love you too!! Yay

    Hey emjob,

    Yay recommendations!

I'll just do ones for people I know

emjob: Chopper, The Return (I'm recommending this movie so much lately, but it's seriously amazing)

Suicidal Ice Cream Truck Driver: The Return

    Logan: Eastern Promises

Rebellion Has its Perks: La Haine

    Witchcraft: Severance

    Harrison Ford: Paprika

Comrade Good Looking: Squid and the Whale, Kicking and Screaming (not the Will Ferrel one)

    Saturn: Fantastic Planet

Tamara Nartichti: In The Mood For Love

    Jack Nicholson: Animal Kingdom

    V: Lilya 4 Ever

    Gabriel: Straw Dogs

    Donny: If....

    d.d: Mother

    :)

@Comrade: I recently bought the Criterion of Dazed and Confused, it's really worth getting if you haven't already

EDiT: hey emjob, I'm on my iPod right now which makes it super hard to type, I'll go on my computer when I get home for a proper book/movie chat

Edit of the edit: Hey emjob! I hope you like my recommendations. You were right, I finished filming my movie last weekend, it's about a man who goes camping in a forest soon after his sister dies. The forest is the same place that she was killed, and while he is there, he splits into different physical forms, each one representing a different stage of the 5 stages of grief. So it's just all his different forms running around the forest, and coming to interact with each other, which drives him crazy, and whatnot. Also I am reading a quite a good book at the moment, called Haunted by Chuck Palhuniak, it's very interesting. I would recommend reading it if you have a strong stomach, there's a short story in there called 'Guts' (which I'm pretty sure you can just read online), and it was one of the most disgusting things I've ever read, I thought I was going to pass out! Have you read anything good lately?

For many of us who have been born in the 60's our life has been spent listening to satisfactory singers like Rafi, Lata, Talat Mahmood , Mukesh, Kishore Kumar, Mahendra Kapoor, Asha Bhosale, Manna Dey. We used to take heed to AIR and Radio Ceylon (Binaca geet mala) for the duration of these times when tv used to be not in. Because you have requested us to opt for one simplest i might say like Mohd. Rafi rather a lot and i will choose up his duet with Lata Mangeshar ' dil todne wale tujhe dil dhoond raha hai' from the film 'Son of India' EDIt; Mr Daftary excellent one I fairly like your resolution in the context of yahoo answers - Duniya kare Sawaal to hum kya jawaab de (If the arena asks questions what do I reply) What i might say is " Agar Aap nahi de Jawaab tho hum (shish) kya kare"

awwwwwww I'm just pleased to have made the team.

my knowledge of most users is limited but I'll have a bash

    Suicidal Ice Cream Truck Driver

The Watchmen - it was actually because of Madeleine's recommendation that I initially watched it, and I think it's a great movie.

    rebellion has its perks

The Dark Knight Rises - simply put, because she's one of my newest favourites!

    Witchcraft

Leon: The Professional - Witchcraft is one of my favourite users, v. clever and great taste in movies (especially horror), and she likes to deliberately watch movies that aren't great just for the fun of it, much like you and I, Emma!

    Ryan Zazul

I don't really know enough about him to answer, but he has a kind face.

    Tamara Nartichti

Pulp Fiction - I miss Tamara around here, she shares my love of Tarantino and she sent me the script for Django Unchained last year, which was the first I'd heard of the movie and it got me all kinds of excited.

    Emjob

Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back - because it's a bit nuts, funny as balls and can never be accused of taking itself too seriously!

    Peace and love Em

edit: @Donny - I have never heard of that show, but a quick google search and it looks good. I do like Danny McBride.

I don't know if you've seen Party Down but I recommend it if not.

@Jack Nicholson - fantastic rec, I love Matt Damon, John Turturro, Ed Norton, John Malcovic and poker; and yet; I've never seen or heard of this movie!

I don't know everyone here, but I'll answer for those I do know.

Suicidal ice cream truck driver- The Shawshank Redemption

    Logan- Rocky

Rebellion has its perks- Rebel Without A Cause

    Harrison Ford- Grand Hotel

    Jack Nicholson- The Shining

    Liam- The Dark Knight

    Gabriel- The Piano Teacher

Emma, I LOVE Dazed And Confused!

@ Liam. I actually got a copy for myself about a week ago, so it'd be unwise for me to buy a Criterion so soon, but thanks for informing me it's good.
