Does anybody else agree that there is something really dodgy about the Tia Sharpe story?

Something just doesn't add up about all of this.

I know I may get a bit of abuse about my opinion, but honestly I just think it is another case similar to the Shannon Mathews one. She was the girl who went missing but police later found out that her mother had planned her kidnapping.

The main reason why I think that the whole thing is a sham is because family members and friends are in conflict about who was with her when she went missing.

The grandmother claims that she wasn't at home when Tia went missing as she had left the house the day before she went missing and that she only returned to her house after Tia had left to go shopping.

Friends of the step - grandfather say that he told them that he dropped Tia off at the bus/tram station, but that he did not wait to see if she got on the tram, this in itself is very silly.

But the stepfather of Tia says that there is no way that her grandfather could have dropped her off at the station because at the time that she left her grandparents house, the grandfather was doing the vacuum and other chores so he couldn't have dropped her off.

So what do you think?

What are your own opinions on this?

As you say, so often these murders end up being in house. The number of times the relatives have appeared at a news conference and then are found to be responsible.Of course we should not talk without proof.

There always is with these sorts of cases. The media/police 'waffle on' about a missing persons 'happy family life' - what a nice person the missing person is and family members doing their TV grieving etc....in this case for a 12yr old girl that was continually 'allowed' to roam around on her own (miles from home) and todays media reports stating she was....out buying shoes.

The whole thing sounds suspect - either that - or we're talking about an out-of-control-child who demands too do as she pleases.....and is allowed to do so.

This girls dress up (media photos) is that of an 16/17 yr old fashion girl - and she is (again) allowed by the parent(s)/family to have the age appearance of a.....12yr old going on16/17yrs....gimme strength.

The longer the search goes on - the worst case scenario will be the result - she's had enough time to respond to her family....and she hasn't as yet.

Someone somewhere (near by or distant) is harbouring a 'very dark secret'.!!

The boyfriend of Tia's step grandmother was on TV tonight saying his piece. One thing he said was interesting.`Tia was always eating sausage rolls'. Not is but was. Why did he use the past tense of the word I wonder.

There is a big search going on for a girl that was not seen by anyone leaving the house she was staying in. Only the boyfriend of Tia's step grandmother seems to be the last person to see the girl.

Another case of many leads. What I am rather surprised at is the fact that policemen involved in the Mathews case have been brought in , they weren't very efficient then !

I don't see why you would get abuse, You make some very good points. I saw one of the family members on tv today and he looked very odd, the Step-dad I think. I always think those step-dads are bad news in cases like this.

That is exactly what I was thinking - it a bit fishy.now don't get ne wrong I hope everyone prays for her to come home safely soon ,however, step dads and grandmas bf could be dodgy
