  • Do you go out on Christmas day?

I don't mean do you eat out or do you go to visit friends and family.

I get sick of staying at home all day, I have to go at least once every day as otherwise I go crazy. So sometimes I just go for a walk or a drive on Christmas day.

Do you do anything like that?

And it's even better to go out for a walk or drive on Christmas day as the roads are all empty as all the other suckers are with their families inside celebrating.

I spend Christmas with my family as well, but like I said I have to get away from it all especially on Christmas, it's just too much and linked in with the fact that I have to go out at least once everyday. I cannot stay at home, or I may very well just go on a killing spree, honestly I go mad if i Stay inside all day.

  • I get christmas presents before and after christmas, but not on Christmas day. Is that weird?

I don't receive any presents on Christmas day. Instead my parents, get me some presents a few days before Christmas day and some presents a few days after Christmas day - in the Boxing day sales. If I do get a present on Christmas day, it will just be something small like a notebook, pen or a candle.

The presents that I get before and after Christmas day are never wrapped up, my parents just hand me them straight into my hands and that's it and my parents never say ''This is your Christmas present'', I just assume it is as I know that I won't get anything on Christmas day.

A week before Christmas day this year, my room got a makeover, so I'm just assuming that's my Christmas present as I won't be getting anything tomorrow on Christmas day.

    Is that weird?

Do you and your family do anything weirder?

It's like this every year for me.

When I was a small kid (I'm 16 now) Christmas was a massive thing in my house, but sadly that's not the case any more.

  • How to explain to people that I don't want to be a Muslim anymore?

A few months ago I decided that I didn't want to be Muslim anymore. I'm 16 and I was born a Muslim.

I don't have the guts to tell my parents, so basically I'm living a lie. I don't come from an extremely religious family, but they are religious enough. I'm planning on telling my family when I reach the age of 18.

However, just yesterday I made the awful mistake of telling all my Muslim friends that I don't want to be Muslim anymore. Some of them aren't saying anything, they're not really bothered. However, others are trying to ''change me''. They're accusing me of ''never being a good Muslim in the first place so how could I even understand Islam''?

I now believe in god without religion but they're telling me that there is no such thing as God without religion.

They're trying to get me to read Islamic books and trust me I have read loads of Islamic books, I've read the Quran, I attended Mosque for many years and yet I've still come to the conclusion that I don't want to be a Muslim.

    What does the reason matter?

So how should I get them to leave me alone??

I WISH I'D NEVER TOLD THEM.

But, I just blurted it out. Don't get me wrong there is a little bit of relief that I have finally got it off my chest. But still....

Some of my friends are asking me to bring in a list to explain to them what I feel is wrong with Islam and they're trying to get me to prove how religious I was.

What do I do to try and get them off my back????

Should I lie to them and tell them I've changed my mind in the space of 2 days and in fact I do want to be a Muslim???

    Thank You

  • Muslims that have left Islam?

    Hi

My question may be a little controversial and some may find it offensive. Just to clarify these aren't my intentions at all.

I have noticed in recent years that whenever a non Muslim converts to Islam Muslims are always going on about it.

However you never hear the other side of the story. People who were born into Islam or converted to Islam but then left the religion.

If you're either of the above. I would love to hear your story.

Were you born into Islam or did you convert?

What was it about the religion that made you leave?

If you were born into Islam what did your family and Muslim friends have to say about it?

    What did they do?

Do you now do things that you weren't allowed to do before such as drinking alcohol, eating pork beef etc?

Or is there anything that you just can't let go of for example are you still against homosexuality or showing your bare legs and arms?

How long did it take you to fully let go of Islam?

Lastly what religion do you follow now if any?

    What do you believe now?

Please don't tell me anything that you don't want to.

    Thank you.

  • Does anybody else agree that there is something really dodgy about the Tia Sharpe story?

Something just doesn't add up about all of this.

I know I may get a bit of abuse about my opinion, but honestly I just think it is another case similar to the Shannon Mathews one. She was the girl who went missing but police later found out that her mother had planned her kidnapping.

The main reason why I think that the whole thing is a sham is because family members and friends are in conflict about who was with her when she went missing.

The grandmother claims that she wasn't at home when Tia went missing as she had left the house the day before she went missing and that she only returned to her house after Tia had left to go shopping.

Friends of the step - grandfather say that he told them that he dropped Tia off at the bus/tram station, but that he did not wait to see if she got on the tram, this in itself is very silly.

But the stepfather of Tia says that there is no way that her grandfather could have dropped her off at the station because at the time that she left her grandparents house, the grandfather was doing the vacuum and other chores so he couldn't have dropped her off.

    So what do you think?

What are your own opinions on this?

  • What would you call this?

I keep a diary. Well I call it a diary but I'm not sure if it actually is or not.

I have 2 rules for this diary:

    1. Never write anything upsetting

    2. Never write about myself

At the moment I am writing about the Olympics. I only write about big events happening around the world.

So I guess if a historian found this book in another 100 years or so it would be very useful.

But what would you call this book?
