Trying to find a Wifi Repeater for Verizon FIOS router?
I have a Verizon FIOS router that provides wifi for my house. The problem is that my basement downstairs has an iffy connection. It goes from 5 bars from upstairs to 1 bar. So...I was thinking of getting a wifi repeater to extend the coverage of the wifi network throughout the entire house.
Any suggestions?
The reason why I say it's a Verizon FIOS router is that it's made by Actiontec and there have been rumors saying that the router does not work with most wifi repeaters. That's why I would like some suggestions in case that's true.

Location location location is the most important thing to remember. most extenders work with all wifi routers. Going into basements is tricky the best suggestion is lan for this area or the new Home Plug of which I'm not empressed. This uses your home wiring.
