Bible verses to refresh my mind and calm me?

Psalms, and practically everything the apostle Paul wrote, which is about a third of the New Testament. The trials in Paul's life, make our life's challenges seem like kindergarden. What God brought that gentleman through, and the peace the apostle Paul received during those events, was written in the word of God for a reason. Our God is faithful, and desires us to see the bigger picture. The bible is the mind of Christ in written form, by those who were led by the Holy Spirit. The bible verses that speak to your heart the most, regardless of what those may be, all have the same ultimate function. The purpose of the word of God, is to direct the believer to the Holy Spirit. The word's are read, but the Lord is the One who is gives the understanding. Verses are a vehicle. A vehicle that is designed to draw us nearer. If you seek daily renewal in your heart, then you must understand it is the communication with the Lord AFTER what is read, that our focus should be on. Understanding the depth of each verse in the bible, can only come from God. Seek out His thoughts, but always do so with the conversation with God that follows. The bible is just a bunch of words, until the Lord gives understanding. Continue to seek Him out in the exact fashion you are doing now. The only thing different, is to include the understanding, that anything read, is for one purpose, and one purpose only. To get you before Him. All trials in your life, have to be allowed by the Lord. Every challenge has a purpose. He is literally saying, 'I want your full attention. You are going through this for a reason. My ultimate purpose must be trusted by faith. I long to guide you step by step, and to do so with your full attention to the bigger picture I have in mind for you, and those you care about."

Acts 3:19

Therefore repent and return, so that your sins may be wiped away, in order that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord;

Lamentations 3:22-23

Because of the Lord’s great love we are not consumed,

for his compassions never fail.

Psalm 30:5

The tune of Solomon has quite a lot of stuff like that in it. Those kinds of verses are good to remind us that God is the one who created it and set it up as holy. There are matters that you would not wish to share with everyone, but within His design, it is a nice and good factor that He gave to us as a gift.
