I have stayed at all three, and I prefer Port Oleans- French Quarter. But it depends on what you desire.

Caribbean Beach is made to look and feel like Caribbeans islands with bright colors, palm trees, etc.. It is more spread out and can require more walking especially to the main building (front desk, food court) than Port Orleans. The WDW bus travels around the perimeter of the resort.

Port Oleans- French Quarter is made to look and feel like downtown New Orleans with wrought iron railings, courtyard gardens and fountains, and cobblestone streets for walkways. It is the most compact of the three resorts, only has one pool, and the bus stops only at the main building.

Port Oleans- Riverside is made to look and feel like the rural south and there are two different style buildings here. The "mansion" rooms are housed in large building that look like southern mansions and the "bayou" rooms are housed in buildings that look like country cabins. It is spread out but not as much as caribbean beach and the WDW bus does travel around the perimeter of the resort. This resort also has the most pools although they are smaller, and it has an island that has a pool and water slides.

Both Port Orleans resorts are on the Sassagoula River, which has boats that on a regular schedule travel to and from Downtown Disney Marketplace. When a guest at either Port Orleans resort, you can use the facilities and amenities at the other one.

You can and should look up the resort amenities on the WDW website, and you can see the resorts and areas by going to a map website (google, yahoo, mapquest) and look at the satellite imagery.

I personally would recommend Port Orleans Riverside over any of the other moderate resorts.

110% Port Orleans Riverside. Carribean is ok but Port Orleans is alot cleaner and Riverside is very relaxed and calming.

    -Cleaner

    -Calmer

    -Bigger

    -Much better restraunt
