Is there a charge for downloading RegCure on a computer?

One site says "Free Download". Does that mean the use of it is free or just the download, then they start charging for the use of it?

    OH my.

    RegCure is one of those borderline-rogue programs from the Kings of Scareware, Paretologic.

    RegCure will *claim* to find about a bazillion errors on the "free scan", but it won't "fix" any of them until you buy it.

    Steer Clear of RegCure.

    If you want an all-around system optimizer, try either Advanced SystemCare 5 or Glary Utilities.

    They both have free versions that actually fix and optimize.
