Why Can't I Find A Job In America?

I started the day early having set my alarm clock (MADE IN JAPAN) for 6am. While the coffeepot (MADE IN CHINA) was perking, I shaved with my electric razor (MADE IN HONG KONG). I then put on a dress shirt (MADE IN SRI LANKA), designer jeans (MADE IN SINGAPORE) and tennis shoes (MADE IN KOREA). After cooking breakfast in my new electric skillet (MADE IN INDIA) I sat down with a calculator (MADE IN MEXICO) to budget how much I could spend today. After setting my watch (MADE IN TAIWAN) to the radio (MADE IN INDIA) I got in my car ( MADE IN GERMANY) and continued the search for a good paying AMERICAN JOB. At the end of yet another discouraging and fruitless day, I decided to relax for a while. so I put on some sandals (MADE IN BRAZIL) poured a glass of wine (MADE IN FRANCE) and turned on the TV (MADE IN INDONESIA), and then wondered why it's so difficult to find a good paying job in.....AMERICA.....

You want a job on the factory floor? The good paying jobs didn't go to those countries.

The United States is a very advance country. Most of the export are not tangible, not something you can touch. Japanese watches American movies, China uses IBM's services, Hong Kong people eat at McDonald's, Koreans use Microsoft Windows. The Germans hire big five account firm to audit their books. Brazilians travel to U.S. for vacations.

The fact that you don't see many products made in USA, is in fact a strength of the country, not weakness.

These countries also hire many Americans. Many are high paying jobs with at least $200,000 a year. Pilots, CEOs and salespeople etc...

lmao mark. such a good point you make there. i feel your pain though. i quit looking lat year and decided to be a stay at home dad. i,like you just cannot find a decent paying job that is worth a damned. but check this out. i have seen articles that state the good paying jobs are in factories, but require 2 years worth of schooling. i also see a lot of CNC machinist jobs out there. if you want to go back to school then there is a field that you might like to look into
