Why are religious people negative or strict or narrow minded or dogmatic?

Now not Christians almost always. But I are attempting to not get into discussions with people in designated Christian sects that are very dogmatic. I suppose men and women who are likely to consider in rigid ways are attracted to inflexible dogmas, and people like which might be ordinarily unpleasant to be around. I'm definite that applies to the rigidly dogmatic in other religions, as good.

These religions were made up by desert dwelling camel riders who owned slaves and married 13 year old girls and demanded they be subservient. it is no surprise that books like the bible, quoran, etc reflect these same close-minded and barbaric world views. the bible constantly talks about stoning people for disobeying and have somehow brain washed people into believing that only a loving god could flood the entire world . it also teaches people to reject common sense and logic because they are expected to believe in talking snakes, talking bushes, and people living to be 900 years old.

Because religion ruins people. Once someone becomes a firm believer in their religion they are ******. They believe every god damn word in their god's book of short stories. catholics and christians are the worst. I thought hate was a mortal sin. Everywhere you go, you hear them hatin atheists BECAUSE they don't believe in god. Last time I checked, god loves everyone no matter what. Besides the fact religion ruins people, I'm not religious because I don't know what I believe in.

God is holy and wants us to be holy !!! His enemy Satan the diabolical one wants us in His camp so he deceives us into sin !!! This war between them has necessitated a solution and God deemed it necessary to make us perfect !!! He acheived that by sacrificing Jesus Christ who was obedient unto death to buy us back from the clutches of sin !!! So now when the Father in heaven sees us He sees the image of Jesus on us [we are sealed like a letter waiting for delivery]so He sees perfection !!! You see He paid a price and put His stamp on us and He has made it easy for us to enter into fellowship with Him and what we need to do is repent !!! Sounds easy so bend your knee and do it for God's sake and yours !!! Pray the prayer at the end !!!
