Is it normal to feel this way after a death?

Hello this is e4g and how are you all? I am very saddened because my father passed away. I have all I need and I am very blessed and will be going to grief couseling too, but even through all my blessings I feel very bad for my mom who loved him so much. We are close but I live very far away.

My questions are is it common to feel sad and lonely when someone who love dies? Is it common to cry for no reason at all other than the fact that I miss him? Does grief get better with time?

I am learning acceptance, but I feel a huge loss. Any answer would be helpful thank you and God bless you e4g

It's completely normal. It's in human nature to feel compassion for other people. Time will heal you, don't worry. :)

First of all, I am so sorry to hear of your loss. I lost my mother when I was 5 years old. The answer to your question is that you do heal, but you are never the same. Crying is normal. The grieving process is normal and healthy. I will be praying for you and the rest of your family. I encourage you to seek counseling from your pastor if you have one. I am happy to talk with you if you need more advice or someone to listen, let me give you my business email: Kryssitunez6791@hotmail.com

    Blessings and prayers!

Yes, I remember when my grandfather died a few months ago, I cried just out of grief & because I missed him. Don't worry though, you'll learn to keep living on. :)
