  • Is it normal to feel this way after a death?

Hello this is e4g and how are you all? I am very saddened because my father passed away. I have all I need and I am very blessed and will be going to grief couseling too, but even through all my blessings I feel very bad for my mom who loved him so much. We are close but I live very far away.

My questions are is it common to feel sad and lonely when someone who love dies? Is it common to cry for no reason at all other than the fact that I miss him? Does grief get better with time?

I am learning acceptance, but I feel a huge loss. Any answer would be helpful thank you and God bless you e4g

  • I have some questions to ask?

I was unable to have children and I realize that this is not the end of the world. But it seems like wherever I go there are children all around me.

My husband and I chose not to have children even though we love children and think they are so cute and adorable.

But whenever there is a children show at our church like for Christmas I cry my eyes out and think I would have been such a great mommy.

My question is is it normal to feel sad that I could not have children even though I know it was Gods will and how can I be loving to those with small kids?

This question was on my mind so I thought I would ask?

  • Women, is this normal?

I was on a medication that stopped my periods for over a year. I got my cycle back again. Of late, since December, I have been under a lot of stress and I barely menstruated in December. Now it is the end of January and I still have not gotten a cycle. I have very bad cramps, sore breasts, I have been hormonal and tearful and very sensitive. I am 41 going on 42, it is possible I could be going through pre- menopause?

PS I am not able to have kids so I know I am NOT pregnant.

  • Dream interpation can anyone tell me what this means?

I had a dream about a cartoon that I used to watch in the 80s called Masters of the Universe and in the dream skeletor the evil force gave me a wreath with pink roses. I was puzzled in my dream and confused and not sure whether or not to accept or acknowledge this gift, the back round all around me was dark. What could be the significance or importance of this dream?

  • Grief and loss is this common?

Many years ago I had a man in my life that I thought was "the one" for life. He was a nice and gentle person and every so often I think of him and wonder if he is OK.

Last night in my sleep I cried because I never got to really say good by to him and there was never any closure, I think some things happened to him when he joined the service years back and was missing for over 6 months meaning he never even contacted his family.

In addition he said he wanted to spend the rest of his life with me but found a girlfriend in another country and had a son who did pass away which was sad.

I never felt he owed me anything there was no engagement or promise like that but he did write Beautiful letters.

I wrote him a letter asking what was really going on with him many years ago and asked him if his family knew we were in contact etc and I never hear back.

He did help me cope though a very deep darkness in my life and we did meet a church. I wish I could have seen him just to say thank you for giving me hope and kindness.

My question is it it normal to feel sad if a relationship ended even though it was over 20 years ago and is it wrong to have these feelings even though I am happily married?

  • Question (s) about behavior?

I am easily startled and frightened and " jump out of my skin when I hear a loud noise or bang, have to get blood drawn, when I was young and got disciplined the sound of the snapping of the strap was harder than the actual "hit" itself.

My question is how do I not be as startled and nervous and jumpy and learn to be more calmer when unexpected or even the excepted things listed above happen?

  • Do you find this as a trend re: engagement?

It is very expensive to buy a diamond engagement ring nowadays, I have noticed a lot of stores like Walmart, Target, Kohl's to name a few sell CZ that are so beautiful in various silver, white gold and yellow gold settings like 10K 14K etc.

Do you find that more people are buying cubic zircons or imitation diamonds? What are the benefits besides the price of owning one?

Thank you for your answers. e4g
