With all of these welfare programs out there, why are there homeless people in NYC and other places?
I thought that welfare was supposed to prevent that. I find it appalling that an illegal alien can live in a low income house provided for free from the Government while a citizen lives in a park bench. I also can't believe that illegal aliens are getting food stamps while homeless people are eating in soup kitchens.
If that was not enough illegal aliens get free health care thanks to Medicaid but more than half of Americans can't afford health insurance.
So from what I can take from all of this is. That the programs which were meant for American citizens are not being used for them. They are currently being used for those from other countries who break our laws.
If that is not disgusting then I don't know what is.

Did you know you have to have an address to receive Welfare as far as Medicaid and EBT are concerned? That's right. The Street people with no residence that actually live on the streets receive nothing. Which makes this liberal debacle even worse

There is more opportunity in the USA than anywhere else - but Americans who went through our public educational system have been trained out of it. They are still being taught to become good employees. People who come from other countries know how to work for themselves. How many first or second generation immigrants own businesses? Far more than people who have been indoctrinated to believe that a "job" is the answer to all problems - and if no job exists, then the government needs to feed me.
All you people who say that business owners didn't build their businesses - go build one. Employ people. Be rich, and do good with your money.

Homeless American citizens get food stamps but you cannot pay your rent with food stamps. There are a variety of reasons people end up homeless but our economic system being unjust is the underlying cause beneath each individual or family story.

Maybe the welfare programmes need to be audited to make sure that the money is being spent correctly and not going into wage increases and food vouchers for the fat cats that administer the programmes.
Sometimes mentally ill people prefer to sleep outside; maybe they were abused in a shelter. Maybe homeless shelters won't give a bed to people with drug or booze problems.

When will US richclass monopolistic capitalism finally be called out as a violation of basic human rights?
With today's integrated international treaty systems, you can't starve your poor classes to death like US richclass have always done past and present. It's against human rights.
In the modern and integrated 1st World, all people in your society must be presented real, life-providing economic opportunities. Yet in the absence of such extended economic opportunities as withheld whether by thieving, hoarding US richclass, your countrymen must be fed and housed. That’s a plain choice.
One day very soon, US richclass monopolist capitalism will at last be singled out for what it is -- a violation of basic human rights.
"According to the US Department of Housing and Urban Development, there were 643,067 sheltered and unsheltered homeless persons nationwide as of January 2009. Additionally, about 1.56 million people used an emergency shelter or a transitional housing program during the 12-month period between October 1, 2008 and September 30, 2009. This number suggests that roughly 1 in every 200 persons in the US used the shelter system at some point in that period.
"According to the United States Conference of Mayors, in 2008 the three most commonly cited causes of homelessness for persons in families were lack of affordable housing, cited by 72 percent of cities, poverty (52 percent), and unemployment (44 percent), and top ideas to stop homelessness were more housing for persons with disabilities (72%), more or better paying employment opportunities (68%), and more mainstream assisted housing (64%)."

Sounds like someone was denied assistance and is now pissed off at illegal aliens for taking his cookies.

Welfare is a poor substitute for institutionalization of the unfortunate homeless. Trillions wasted. More homeless than ever.
We agreed to let the institutions be closed. Thanks to sweet liberal appeals to our "better" natures.

Donations to church buildings role identical to the tax-loose donations one could make to any non-benefit institution or group institution: something a man or woman donates is subtracted from their complete sales earlier than taxes are calculated. This is meant to inspire persons to provide extra and greater help to such organizations, which possibly are supplying advantages to the group that the federal government now does now not have got to be dependable for. Why, precisely, is it once more that wealthy organizations and billionaires will have to be tax-loose? Why, precisely, is it once more that wealthy men and women and firms will have to get a tax holiday for purchasing off politicians with so-known as "political donations"? Why, precisely, is it once more that "faithless worshippers of cash" will have to care if church buildings are, and regularly had been tax-loose? ARE you that fearful to visit hell that you just desire to "rob" God extra, even above your gift refusal to pay tribute to God?!? This is an insult to "beneficiant" donors, who obey God's phrase, giving greater than 10% of our sales "sacrificially", from grasping jealous "anti-christs" and their inconsiderate fans. Churches improvement essentially the most from tax exemptions since they qualify for plenty of of them routinely (which saves cash for presidency overseers too). Whereas non-devout organizations ought to pass by way of a extra problematic software and approval approach, since non-believers are much more likely to mislead, considering they don't ought to reply to GOD.
