Prosperity is where the rich with their inherited wealth get richer while the poor ... well who cares about them, they're poor right!

Shared prosperity is where the rich get richer as before but this time the poor also get to benefit.

Redistribution of wealth via taxation is often used to enable all sections of society to benefit from prosperity.

Often this means that the poor get adequate healthcare, clean water, nutrition and often includes the provision of basic education. All in all it means that the poor become better functioning members of society, and ironically the benefits of such a healthy educated workforce results in even greater wealth for those at the top.

Shared prosperity sounds better for fools than does socialism.

You can't force prosperity on those who have no incentive to be prosperous on their own achievement. You can only force those who are prosperous to pay more for those who contribute nothing. This is socialism; not shared prosperity.

Yeah. What fun is it to be rich if there are no poor people to oppress, look down on, and who will fetch things for you for pennies.
