Adventure Time Question?
In the latest episode of Adventure Time, the did a continuation of The Worm King. The two main characters last ran into him in an episode in Season 1. But after watching it, I was a bit confused, in this new episode, which is a direct continuation, when Finn is dreaming, he see's Fire Princess, The Lich, That ghost from the haunted mansion and other revelations. Now, how is this possible?
If this is a continuation from the episode from Season 1, he shouldn't know who the Lich is. Or who Fire Princess is..... Is this a mistake? Was this a premonition?
Me and the wife were debating how he could have been dreaming about characters that don't exist to him yet.

This is not a continuation of Evicted!, but a sequel. The creators just revisited the Worm King, Finn wasn't necessarily dreaming during the time he was hypnotized. Maybe the Worm King came back for revenge, but was defeated. For more information look at the episodes wiki page:

It seems to me that since they don't tend to air these shorts in any particular order, that the Worm King could have trapped Finn after he met Flame Princess and The Lich. Even though they are divided into seasons, I don't consider them to be in any type of chronological order.

You have/had the same question that I had.
If they're revisiting it, it doesn't make sense, since he doesn't know Flame Princess. I've had many arguments that they did this out of order, but even that doesn't make sense... Only Pendleten Ward really knows.
